Background
Inspired by the "My Precious" exhibition in 2010/2011 at the Danish museum of Art and Design in Copenhagen, I spent some late nights by the lathe to make my own pair of headphones. They were crafted from rough napkin sketches and are all one of a kind prototypes.
Project Description
Old electronics with a new life. All was salvaged from worn out products, hence the speaker housings vary in size, but the brackets are all the same; made of steel wire and leather. The housings slides smoothly along the brackets and the construction allows for twisting the shape to fit the user.
